Managing Director
Our Chairman and Managing Director Mr.K Ravindra Alva has over 30 years of experience in the Finance and Real Estate Sector. A graduate in Economics and Law,he started his career as a Senior Finance Officer with HUDCO(A Govt of India enterprise). He gradually worked his way up the ladder and retired as an Executive Director with the same organization. During his tenure as an Executive Director, he was responsible for overseeing operations covering the States of Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Goa, and contiguous Union Territories accounting for over 60% of the HUDCO’s business in the field of urban and rural housing and urban development activities.
He was also a part of numerous international assignments. Notable among them:
- Participated as a Member in the Study tour on “Best Practices of Decentralised Training for Urban Development Projects” to Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore, and Thailand organized by the Ministry of Urban Affairs and Employment, GOI, from June 20 to July 03, 1998.
- Participated as a Member of the Financial Mission to Canada and Washington on “Environmental Risk Management” organized by the Environment Management Division of the Confederation of Indian Industry, New Delhi from 8th to 20th July 2001.
- Participated as a Member of the Indian delegation in the 19th session of the Governing Council of the United Nations – Human Settlements Programme (UN-Habitat) at Nairobi, Kenya in May2003.
He was also a member of various National and State level Boards and Organizations. Notable among them are:
- Director on the Board of Karnataka Housing Board (KHB)
- Director on the Board of Karnataka Urban Water Supply and Drainage Board (KUWS&DB)
- Director on the Board of Karnataka Road Development Corporation Ltd. (KRDCL)

- Director on the Board of Karnataka Slum Clearance Board (KSCB)

He was also associated with various International Agencies like UN-Habitat, World Bank, ADB, USAID, KfW, and JBIC (OECF) in the field of appropriate interventions for finance and technological inputs for housing and urban development.

- Conferred with an All-India Top Performer award by Vijaya Bank during Deposit Mobilisation Drive in 1986
- Recommended by Vijaya Bank for Prime Minister’s SHRAMASHREE Award for exemplary and dedicated work.
- Received an Appreciation Letter from CMD, HUDCO for excellent performance regarding scheme generation, loan releases as well as mobilization of resources against the Public Deposit Scheme in the region in the year January 1995.
- Received Outstanding Performance Award instituted by HUDCO for the overall excellence in operational performance of Bangalore Regional Office for the years 1994-95, 1995-96, 1996-97, 1997-98, 1998-99, 1999-2000, 2000-01, 2001-02 and 2002-03.
Throughout his tenure, he has been responsible for various large-scale Infrastructure projects both on the financial as well as Developmental fronts especially in the State of Karnataka. National Games Village (Bangalore), Mekhri Circle Flyover, Bangalore-Mysore Highway, Prestige ForumMall, and Embassy Golf Links are a few notable projects with which he has been associated. Mr Alva comes with abilities and the practical experience of having carried out numerous projects. He aims to provide good quality housing at an affordable price to all sections of thesociety.
Prajay Alva
Director
Mr Prajay Alva is a professional architect having graduated from the prestigious Politecnico di Milano in Italy. He is also the Principal Architect of a boutique architecture firm called Studio Anoma. He comes with almost 5 years of experience in the Design and Build domain and has practically designed and executed numerous residential projects, he has also executed projects for Government bodies like Bangalore Smart City etc.
